The intricate details of the artwork, have deliberate significance and importance for the warrior. Besides acrylic painting, I resorted to fabrics, beads and embroidery to highlight the attire. Their traditional wears are simple yet extraordinary thanks to thehand crafted beads and jewels. I have great admiration when it comes to nomadic African tribes and their cultural arts. They might be considered primitive in today's world but their consideration to culture, tradition and colors are very unique. I believe my brush strokes and paints wouldn't do justice to the profound meaning and the tribe's ornaments. This is why I went for a mixed media route. 2.
