Link to show the production of the creation (if any): Page 2 of 3 This piece of art was created in May 2020, while Mauritius and a good part of the whole world was on lockdown. Just like each element represents an important part of "Alice in Wonderland" story, they also depict certain aspects that contributed at keeping my mind together during those challenging days. The biscuit, which significantly increased Alice's size, shows my own growth as an artist during these difficult times. The potion, which Alice drank to shrink, constitute all the behaviours I had abandoned in order to focus on being an artist, every day. (Because it's a daily battle). The cards mean that this whole art road is a gamble, because I could have been doing something else. Most importantly, the pocket watch serves as a reminder of all the time spent learning, painting, being frustrated and working through that to achieve my goals, instead of remaining idle.
