My painting is intuitive and my characters come into being after I meditate. I will never forget the night Hermes came into being. I had invited an artist friend from Beaux Arts for dinner and instead of cooking I got into the flow of painting. Hermes eventually took the shape of a Circus Hedgehog who really wanted to be cuddled and hugged. He made me truly happy and I have loved him from that precise moment on. I hope he finds a lovely home where he will be loved. Hermes will definitely bring hugs and cuddles along as he basked in the energy of my writing of his story which ends in him unleashing his potential and getting all the hugs he ever wanted despite being prickly.
