CREATOR'S CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY Page 2 of 6 During summertime, spending time with my family on the island of Brac in Croatia, I feel the need to express myself through artwork and painting. The beautiful sunset, the clear blue crystal water, and a windsurfer on a red board inspired me to make these paintings. Salt Mine Collection is a mosaic of moments, memories, and pictures of the experiences I've had during these beautiful times with my family. These pieces also show what the beauty of the Adriatic Sea evokes in me, a projection of the range of reactions and stimulants I experience on the island. An architect for many years, who has been painting since I was a child. I had my first exhibition thirty-three years, and I am currently working on a life project; a gallery and studio-house in Dalmatia, where I can live and paint until the end of my days. As a painter, I can go from figuration to abstract expressionism. I explore different techniques like drawing, aquarelle, oil, informel, and now, acrylic-my dearest and fastest form of expression-, canvas, paper, board, I honestly have no preferences, but I have been working with canvas lately, because of the possibility of working with a larger format. I enjoy the uncertainty of a big area, not knowing where it will take me. All I know is that I put them together and after painting on them, I end up with different pieces of a whole, which is like a game to me, like "fil rouge". I like doing live painting exhibitions, where I can feel the space full of exhibitors, communicate with them, and feel their reactions. Painting is my life. I am painting seven days a week at my studio… Even when I'm sleeping, I dream of painting. 2.
