Link to show the production of the creation (if any): Page 2 of 3 I normally focus on the sensual nature of art often depicting my views of happiness, sorrow and love. The surrealism in my painting shows how the human mind and body travels. I used a combination of colours, symbolisms to portray my experience of life. This painting represents my feelings about happiness, love and ephemeral pleasure. The flowers represent the idea of love which is often misinterpreted as perfection and beauty. The way they are all arranged in the background gives an illusion of fake flowers which can be interpreted as perfect flowers. The ballerina stands for fragility, imperfection and truth. I chose a ballerina to depict this concept as I believe that ballerinas always have to look perfect. In my painting, the half naked ballerina shows that she no longer belongs to the show.
