As I became increasingly invested in the work and listening to podcasts and music, I simply gave in to wherever my mind wanted to take my (Apple) pencil. I tried to express what I was feeling and thinking about in the moment, but never constrained myself too much - after all, this was a meditative, relaxation exercise to manage my energy and get ready for bed.
