The fraudulent licence can be accessed here. It is observed that a logo of a certain Free Zone of Mauritius appears on the Licence of UNITEDBTC BANK. UNITEDBTC BANK is claiming to offer products and services such as cryptocurrency cards, investment banking, investment opportunities, international loans, business banking, amongst others, on its website (https://unitedbtcbank.com/ ). The FSC hereby informs the public that its range of licences does not include 'Banking (Full Service) Licence', as purported in the fraudulent licence. The public is also informed that UNITEDBTC BANK and/or any other individuals or representatives operating under this name are not and have not, at any point in time, been licensed and regulated by the FSC. The attention of the public is drawn to the investor alert issued by the FSC against Free Zone of Mauritius on 16 July 2019. The FSC urges investors and the public to exercise caution in relation to their dealing with UNITEDBTC BANK and Free Zone of Mauritius.
